The sculpture series Des méridiens nouveaux qui chatouillent les paumes focuses on the formal lines of oversized 3D printed beaver paws, assembled then arranged on a cardboard box molded in porcelain. The superposed objects emphasize a linear pattern while alluding to the everyday activity of a workshop, both as a scattered landscape of boxes, buckets, and wrapping materials, and as the site of creative potential. These juxtapositions are central to my current approach. Vitreous china, glaze, 14,5 x 11 x 5 in.
