Here, two owls at rest are surrounded by a multitude of little mice whose tails are transformed into ornamental vegetation. Their \u201cfoliage\u201d tails suggest that, not only do the mice help to the spread of seeds of various plant species, but the seeds are sprouting on the mice, as well, and helping to camouflage them as much as the mice modify the landscape.
