The margins of books of hours from the Middle Ages are at the starting point of this work produced under the theme of flax. Spinning linen thread from flax with a distaff was often illustrated in the margins of books of hours and other medieval manuscripts. This ancient imagery was juxtaposed with my personal iconography to create this porcelain wall installation that evokes a series of marginalia.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Porcelain, pigments, nichrome wire, pins,
