L\u2019\u00e9treinte is a series of two digital prints created as part of a project entitled Porcelaine num\u00e9rique (“Digital Porcelain”), which centres on an oscillation between the two- and three-dimensional potentials of porcelain. The porcelain objects in this series have been produced from a press-mold made with the textures of bubble-wrap and tin foil. Delicate forms were hand-built, glazed and fired. During the firing process, some of the objects have accidentally fused together creating this unexpected embrace that is now fixed in time. <\/p>\n\n
