Roches qui auraient pu ne pas exister (Rocks that might have not existed) is a collection of fake rocks that I made with different ceramics materials and real rocks that I fired at a high temperature. This project asks a simple question : can fake rocks, made out of ceramics materials which are all industrially purified minerals, look like real rocks? I was also trying to reproduce, in a few hours, a natural phenomenon which usually occurs over thousands of years. Along with their fake state, these rocks all have fake names. <\/p>\n\n

This fake rocks collection was exhibited in 2005 along with the real rocks collection of the Redpath Museum, the natural history museum of McGill University.<\/p>\n\n
